Kelly van Zon is once again victorious at the European Table Tennis Championships in Helsingborg, where she successfully defended her European title.
In the final match against the Turkish player Kubra Korkut, van Zon’s prowess was evident as she achieved the victory in just four games. With this win, Kelly van Zon secured her fourth European title.
In the semifinals, van Zon displayed her dominance by defeating Russian player Safonova with a sweeping score of 3-0 (11-8, 11-5, 11-5). The final brought her face-to-face with her familiar opponent, Korkut, with whom she often contends in the finals of European Championships, World Championships, and Paralympic Games. Once again, van Zon demonstrated her superior skills and brought the European championship title back home: 11-3, 11-7, 1-11, 11-9.
